Smolak Farms

P9210281

For the second stop on our New England farm tour, B and I went to Smolak Farms in North Andover, MA. My dear friend Jasmine came along too; she's the only person I know who loves animals and fall-themed activities as much as I do.

For the occasion, I wore one of my favorite fall floral tops, a warm, chunky cardigan, shorts, tights, and ankle boots - practically my fall uniform.

Cardigan: thrifted
Top: thrifted
Shorts: Levi's
Tights: Hue (Macy's)
Boots: Charlotte Russe
Bracelets: Madewell

Not surprisingly, we spent much of our afternoon at Smolak Farms looking at the animals. There are llamas, alpacas, various fowl, deer, goats, zebu, and more - and they're all so cute!

The sweetest little goat! He was my favorite. (Shh.. don't tell the others!)

Sleepy baby. Love his hairdo.

Look at those fancy feathers!

After quality time with the animals, we went to the farm stand area to look around / eat yummy treats.

Smolak Farms has pick-your-own apples. Unfortunately, we didn't arrive early enough to pick, but we did enjoy some of Smolak's apples in the form of their delicious apple cider donuts. Okay, you caught me, I had frozen yogurt too. What a combination!

    1. It's one of my favorite ways to dress in the fall - probably because it lets me show off my extensive tights collection, haha.

    1. Really?? Ohh, I bet it was so beautiful! Funny that you say that, though, because when we were there I kept thinking of how perfect it would be for a wedding. Too bad I'm already married :)

  17. Wow! That looks so much fun! I love fall themed activities too, but it's a little difficult in the city. I would give anything to try an apple cider donut. YUM!
