For the past couple of weeks, B & I have been trying to think of a fun, thematic way to explore New England this fall. We finally settled on a New England farm tour, and our first stop was Brooksby Farm in nearby Peabody, Massachusetts.
Brooksby Farm is great for many reasons. First, they have an adorable, affordable, and well-stocked farm stand store, where you can get apple cider (hot or cold!) and apple cider donuts. We of course drank some cider, which was delicious, and bough a half-dozen donuts, which we ate within a few hours.

Brooksby Farm also has some seriously adorable farm animals. I'll let these photos speak for themselves because my words can't do justice to all the cuteness.

Walking around Brooksby was a fun, relaxing way to spend a beautiful early-fall afternoon. I can't wait to visit again as my favorite season arrives. Think I can convince B to go on a hay ride with me?
What a great sightseeing idea - everything looks so pretty. And fall on a farm is like the perfect time to be there.

ReplyDeleteThey have an orchard near me that has the similar stuff...donuts, cider, pies etc but no farm animals! The plaid dress is so cute :)

Can I come roam the orchard with you!? I want to go apple picking, that's it, I'm doing it this weekend.
ReplyDeleteYES, of course you can.
DeleteGAH! Your outfit is so FALL, I love it! I wish I could do the cutesy fall things around here, but I feel so awkward being alone and doing them by myself. Back home I could do it all with my best friend Matt... but I don't have close enough friends to do it with yet. :(

You'll make great friends soon, I'm sure! In the meantime, don't be afraid to do things alone sometimes. I've learned to keep myself company now that my husband & I have such different schedules. It's not so bad :)
DeleteYou look so adorable in your fall dress and tights! Love it.

Yay! It's fall! I love this and it makes me miss home terribly. Fall isn't quite as celebrated in the city. Boo.
ReplyDeleteOne word needed- f a n t a s t i c !!! chic & pretty :)
ReplyDeleteThanks so much!
DeleteThat looks like so much fun! Sometimes I really wish I owned a car so I could explore off the beaten path a little more. I've lived in Boston for almost three years, but I've seen very little of the rest of New England.
ReplyDeletePS: Love your colorful fall outfit:)
I'm really trying to get out of the city more because almost all of New England is worth exploring. Have you ever thought of renting a Zip Car? My friend just signed up on Thursday, and she's already cruising all around!
DeleteWhat an amazing trip! And you could not be cuter- that dress is adorable!
ReplyDeletelovely photos!
ReplyDeleteThank you :)
DeleteMmmm cider donuts! Local farms are always a great way to get a bit of fall flavor, and your photos are so pretty!
ReplyDeleteThe plaid dress is adorable!
