Yesterday, I posted about Salem Willows Park. It's one of our favorite spots in Salem, and B & I thought it would be the perfect place to spend our 4th of July. Wearing our red, white, and blue, we arrived in the evening, ate some pizza & ice cream, and watched the sunset.

We sat in the grass here along the water to watch fireworks. It was a great spot: we could see the Salem fireworks, as well as the fireworks from all the towns across the water. Rain ended up cutting our night short, but not before we also watched an awesome lightning storm. I hope you all had lovely holidays too! How did you celebrate?
These are such gorgeous photographs. It looks like the perfect, relaxing 4th of July.
ReplyDeleteI loove the scarf, it's super cute. When I was little I had a red, pink, turquoise and navy just like yours :)
ReplyDeleteGorgeous pics! We did the same not in MA. But we went to the beach in MS and watched fireworks ! It was nice !
