On super hot days, a fedora is my go-to accessory; it alleviates the need to do anything with my hair, and it hides the fact that I'm wearing little or no makeup - or that my makeup is melting off of my face.
I wore this outfit last week on a day that reached about 100 degrees. (I've mentioned that I hate the heat, right? Ugh.) I spent much of my morning crying about how hot it was, before B & I decided to pack up our laptops & head to somewhere - anywhere - with a.c. We ended up at Starbucks, and while we were there a crazy thunderstorm started. It poured for a couple of hours, after which it was about 25 degrees cooler, and I was a happy girl.

I agree, fedoras rock as a go-to summer item! (They always are so awesome for those bad hair days a look a tad more stylish than a baseball cap.) Maxi are also so great for summer, the color on this one is so pretty and bright, the color brings out the bright band of fabric on the fedora. :)
ReplyDeleteSuper hot weathers typically call for a bun in my case. Though I keep meaning to break out some hats and scarves. How is Salem? Enjoying the new space and place?
ReplyDeleteWe're having so much fun! Still organizing & getting settled, of course. It's such a process!
ReplyDeleteI find it makes me feel a bit less like I'm wearing a tent, haha.
ReplyDeleteSeriously. You rock hats.
ReplyDeleteI love your fedora and all the bright color! Such a cute summer look! :)
