Last Monday, B & I lucked out and both had the day off. We took advantage of the gorgeous, 90 degree day by day-tripping to Salem, and we fell absolutely head-over-heels in love with the little town. Obviously, Salem has a rich, quirky history, which is certainly appealing in its own right; however, beyond that, it is just so damn beautiful & unique.

Since I knew the temp was supposed to reach almost 90 degrees, I wanted to wear something easy & cool. I opted for this gorgeous vintage dress, which I purchased from Swift & Faire Co., one of my favorite vintage shops, when they were at the SoWa Market a few weeks ago.

The waterfront area was easily my favorite part of Salem. I mean, how gorgeous is this?!

B & I are primarily vegetarians, but every so often we see some seafood that we can't resist (living in Boston is tough like that). Case in point: this lobster roll from The Hungry Whale. Nom!

that bright print is AMAZING! i like it with the black flats, but i could see it working with all sorts of other shoes too!

I always swore that I was going to try to make a jaunt into Salem while living in the north east and, sadly, it looks like that's just not going to happen before I have to leave...but I love hearing about your trip there!

SO delish. There's a food truck that comes around here called the Lobstah Truck and it's yummmmy. There's also a lobster roll place in NYC that I was dying to try, but it was kind of a grab & go place, and it was raining. Haha. So next time I'm there I MUST.
