I don't know why, but I sort of used to think layering was strictly a fall thing. Probably because, where I'm from, the seasons seemed to jump straight from winter to summer. This year, however, as winter turns to spring in Boston, I'm having so much fun layering some of my spring pieces. One of my new favorite "tricks" is layering a chambray shirt over another top and under a vest or jacket. (I tried it another way here.)
Do you do a lot of layering in spring? What are some of your favorite ways to do it?
I love layering! Your scarf is super cute :)
ReplyDeleteLOVE the layers. Thanks for the idea - I definitely want to try my chambray with different shirts/jackets. And the floral scarf looks great too! I almost always wear leggings - that's my biggest layering tool ; )

Cute! Love all your layers. You look ready for Spring.
ReplyDeleteLayering is just so much fun because it's almost impossible to do in the summer (too hot!) so gotta take advantage of it while you can! The chambray shirt has literally become the most important staple in my closet... loooove those pink jeans!! SO CUTE!

I have the same jacket and got lots of spring use out of it last year! I wore to work, baseball games, out {basically everywhere}. Which reminds me, I need to dig it out so I can wear it soon!
ReplyDeleteThis is great layering - and the bright, floral scarf is the perfect pop of spring!

Um can you send me that jacket and scarf? And pants? I am LOVING the army green with those bright colors!! I have to layer in spring - leaving for work when it's 35 out and returning when it's 55 is hard to dress for! Scarves help - and I do a lot of blazers with cardis underneath.
ReplyDeleteLayering always use to mean fall to me too. But now living in AZ, it pretty much only happens in the winter. I love you spring layers though. Especially that scarf!
ReplyDeleteMy love of cardigans means I layer all year round. I definitely have more layers in the fall and the spring though. Loving all your pink/ green combos:)
ReplyDeleteYou are like the layer queen! I love layering, I rarely leave my house without 2 shirts on. No idea why. And I'm still SO loving your hair.

ReplyDeleteI usually reserved layering for winter but I like this idea of spring layering. Your floral print scarf is a lovely addition of color to this look!

Thanks for your comment about the MOS! It was an amazing time...and I agree, my boyfriend and I probably had more fun than most of the kids as well. I love your scarf in this outfit post, and the boots are stunning! I can't believe you got them from Charlotte Russe...they look like Frye's!
