I rarely shop retail, but when I received my exam grades a couple of weeks ago, I treated myself to some shopping. Lands' End Canvas was (and still is) having a crazy sale, so I bought this plaid button-down. In the interest of full disclosure, I actually bought several plaid button-downs, as well as a few other items. Don't judge me. For the first time in months, I also went to Urban Outfitters, where I found these pants way on sale. Guys, I'm obsessed! I've been looking for a pair of red pants for awhile now, and while these are a little less red and a little more pink than what I originally had in mind, I actually love them. They'll go with a lot of other items in my wardrobe, and I think the color will work year round. I hope you all like them too - I have a feeling you'll be seeing them often!

I rarely retail shop myself but when I do I find that it comes in waves and there are so many things I want it's crazy. I have to exercise some serious control. Love the pants! I have several pairs of colored denim (ranging from bright pink to dark red to cobalt blue) and have no plans to stop buying more anytime soon. They go with everything! I say go for it!

I loooooove this... this is so something I would wear. Plaid and bright red pants! It's nice because it's almost a "Nantucket red" which could carry you into spring and summer too. So cute :)

Hannah, I was at F21 today and picked up a similar shirt except mine is a double faced shirt. The outside is plaid the inside is gingham, it's only $17.80 I think you'd like it. Congrats on the excellent exam grades and I look forward to more posts with your red/pink jeans :)
