Democratic donkey & me.

B "standing in opposition" at Old City Hall.

Old City Hall. Beautiful, right?
Outfit Details: Sunnies: Steve Madden; Button-down: Gap; Sweater: Gap;
Belt: Forever 21; Dress (worn as skirt): Old Navy; Tights: Hue (Macy's);
Socks: Hue (Macy's); Boots; Forever 21; Purse: Charlotte Russe
I wasn't sure how I felt about this outfit when I put it together. On one hand I liked it because it included some of my favorite things: plaid, tights, boots, etc. On the other hand, I felt like it was a little 90s grunge (think Claire Danes in My So-Called Life), which isn't usually my style. Now that I'm looking at these pictures, though, I'm kinda loving it, and I hope you agree.
I wore this outfit to class on Friday. I had a three hour break between my two classes, so B met me for lunch (Mexican - yum!), and we wandered around the city a bit. I know, I know, I should have been doing homework instead, but, trust me, I paid for it by staying in most of the weekend. Sigh.
It does look very Claire Danes in MYSCL but in a good way!
ReplyDeleteI agree with Lissy!!
ReplyDeleteAgreed! Love this outfit:)
ReplyDeleteI definitely like it - it does sort of have an angsty grunge element to it but really pulled together as well, and the plaid top is great!

I really like the outfit. It has the elements of grunge without being disgusting or Kurt Cobain-like. (I love him, but the dude couldn't dress.)

ReplyDeleteIf you're grunge, I must be goth. :) It's nice to see B!
ReplyDeleteI love it too! You look comfy but cute! I think it's the purple tights. Those are majorly awesome.
ReplyDeleteI think you look adorable! And, um, can I just say I was obsessed with My So Called Life as a teen and I own all the DVDs now and still think Jordan is a hottie?!
