When I was younger, my mother insisted that brown was "my color." She was probably right, but what little girl wants to be told her color is brown when there are so many fun, bright colors to wear?
I don't worry anymore about what "my color" is, but brown remains one of my favorites. It's my go-to for putting together simple, classic looks - the way some people turn to black.

This is such a great fall look - and brown is a really great color. I tend to instinctively reach for black but there's something so elegant and refined about brown shades.

I love this outfit, and brown definitely looks great on you! I always contemplate getting more of it...I just got some knee high brown boots yesterday (inspired by your blog, just an FYI) so I guess that is extra motivation for me to buy more brown :)
